Farmer Joe Needs Our Help! (Maths Task)

The problem:

Farmer Brown has made a phone call to our class.  He would like us to go shopping for 12 one size fits all animal shoes for the animals on his farm. Which farm animals might he have in mind to wear the shoes?

Here are some of our solutions.....

Our learning:

We worked together to solve the problem.

We had discussions and shared our ideas.

We found different number combinations that add up to 12.

We used pictures to show our thinking.

We recorded our answers as equations.

EOTC Week

EOTC Week was great fun!  The children had fun participating in a range of activities. There was cycling, snag golf, Science in a Van, bubble blowing, basketball, orienteering, forest hunts and our trip to Masterton.
